Overview / Synopsis
A relentless serial killer targets doctors and surgeons without leaving a trace. Commissioner Lorenzo Aliprandi is drawn into an investigation where scientific ethics, human ambition and obsession become increasingly intertwined, revealing a mystery far darker than a conventional murder case.
Production Background
Following the experience gained with Fenix, Stem Cell represented the next step in Rising Film's evolution. Co-produced with Giuseppe Di Giorgio and Alessandra Montini, the project allowed the team to further develop its expertise in cinematography, post-production, editing and visual storytelling while working on a larger-scale independent feature.
