Overview / Synopsis
After the loss of his mother, Lorenzo begins an intimate journey through memories, relationships and unexpected encounters. As he reconnects with family, old friends and new possibilities, he is forced to confront the emotional barriers that have always kept him from fully opening himself to others. Set between everyday life and the landscapes of Southern Italy, the film blends humor, romance and introspection into a story about love, forgiveness and personal growth.
Production Background
Designed as an independent feature film, Ma tu, mi vuoi bene? focuses on authentic performances, natural locations and a cinematic style that privileges emotional realism over spectacle. The production moves between central Italy and the Salento region, using real locations to reinforce the intimacy and authenticity of the story.
